Job description

The delivery driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of general goods, particularly pet products, to customers, retail partners, and distributors. This role requires maintaining vehicle condition, handling products with care, and ensuring excellent customer service during deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport pet products and other general goods to assigned delivery locations
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of products based on delivery invoices
• Verify and secure items before departing for delivery
• Follow assigned delivery schedules and route plans
• Collect signed delivery receipts and proof of delivery
• Handle basic customer inquiries and represent the company professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the delivery vehicle
• Monitor product conditions during transport to avoid damage or loss
• Report vehicle issues, delivery delays, or discrepancies immediately to the supervisor
• Assist in warehouse activities during non-delivery hours if needed

Qualifications:

• At least High School graduate / Vocational course preferred
• Valid professional driver’s license (Restriction Code 1, 2, or as required by LTO)
• 1–2 years delivery driving experience (preferred)
• Familiar with local routes and traffic regulations (Davao City and surrounding areas)
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy items (pet food sacks, boxes, etc.)
• Basic knowledge in vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance
• Honest, reliable, and with good time management skills
• Willing to work overtime when needed
