Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Record to Report Ops Associate to join our General Accounting team in Taguig. This role requires at least 6 months of relevant experience and openness to Transaction Processing, Closing Cycle, or Financial Reporting.

You will perform standard accounting tasks, escalate issues when needed, and collaborate with teammates to ensure accuracy and compliance. Work setup is Return to Office in Taguig Uptown Bonifacio area; you will follow client policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant accounting experience.
• Open to at least one sub-process: Transaction Processing, Closing Cycle or Financial Reporting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Accounting activities under guidance of the General Accounting Lead.
• Perform standard tasks with potential variations in sequencing according to procedures.
• Escalate issues when tasks fall outside normal scope and seek supervisor guidance.
• Maintain accuracy and organization in daily duties and collaborate with the team.
• Comply with client policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.

POSITION TITLE: Record to Report Ops Associate

WORK SETUP: Return to Office

OVERALL PURPOSE: The General Accounting Associate is responsible for delivery of the General Accounting activities for the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for activities assigned by the General Accounting Lead
• Performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing.
• Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures.
• Seeks advice and escalates issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job.
• Subject to general direction and guidance from supervisor / manager as appropriate.
• Interacts largely with own workgroup but may interact with users around first line queries/requests for information.
• Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
• Escalates production issues to his/her team leader as appropriate.
• Complies with all clients published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.
