Job summary

Accenture Philippines is seeking a General Accounting Associate to deliver General Accounting activities for our client. The role is return-to-office with project location in Taguig Uptown Bonifacio Tower 3 and requires eligibility to work in the country.

You will handle responsibilities assigned by the General Accounting Lead, work within a team, and adapt to learn new processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of relevant experience
• Open to at least one of these sub processes: Transaction Processing, Closing Cycle, Financial Reporting

Responsibilities

• Deliver General Accounting activities as assigned by the General Accounting Lead
• Perform standard tasks with guided sequencing and routine procedures
• Escalate issues when tasks fall outside normal scope
• Work under supervision, interacting mainly with own workgroup
• Be accurate, efficient, and organized in daily responsibilities
• Learn new processes and adapt quickly as part of a team

OVERALL PURPOSE:

The General Accounting Associate is responsible for delivery of the General Accounting activities for the client.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for activities assigned by the General Accounting Lead
• Performs regular standard tasks but with the opportunity to vary work sequencing.
• Solves problems largely by precedent with referral to detailed instructions/procedures.
• Seeks advice and escalates issues when faced with tasks/problems outside normal scope of job.
• Subject to general direction and guidance from supervisor / manager as appropriate.
• Interacts largely with own workgroup but may interact with users around first line queries/requests for information.
• Accurate, efficient and organized within daily responsibilities.
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to work as part of a team.
• Escalates production issues to his/her team leader as appropriate.Complies with all clients published policies and procedures and any legal and regulatory requirements that the company is obliged to adhere to.

SKILL AND QUALIFICATIONS:
