Job summary

IQVIA in Taguig City, Philippines is seeking a Database Support Analyst I to help create and maintain the IQVIA database, ensuring accuracy and timely updates from internal and external sources. You will resolve file code exceptions, follow established protocols, monitor data trends, and document quality control procedures to support reliable client information.

A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of related experience, or a high school diploma with 4 years’ IQVIA database operations experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 2 years of related work experience or 4 years with equivalent IQVIA database operations.
• Experience using mainframe tools such as JCL, SAS and IQVIA PACT Pref.
• Proficiency in Windows applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Good analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and diagnosis trends.
• Ability to identify/eliminate repetitive problems and standardize processes using research tools.

Responsibilities

• Assures accuracy and timeliness of additions and modifications to the common master file from internal and external sources.
• Resolves assigned file code database exceptions through setup and maintenance within the file.
• Ensures all maintenance conforms to rules and protocols.
• Performs daily verification of maintenance and applies corrections as needed.
• Maintains documentation of quality control procedures.
• Visually monitors data for trends in monthly and quarterly client information.
