Job summary

Credit Corp Inc. is seeking a Database Engineer to manage and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments within our IT Systems & Solutions team. The role covers day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, upgrades, backup and disaster recovery, plus automation to improve performance and reliability.

You will provide hands-on DB support, monitor health, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure a seamless business experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including SSRS and SSIS, with solid T-SQL scripting capability.
• Expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, optimization and high availability solutions (Availability Groups).
• Backup, recovery and disaster recovery planning with security best practices.
• Exposure to Windows Server environments, including failover clustering and server management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Design and maintain database architectures that support scalability, resilience and business growth.
• Implement and manage data security frameworks, including access governance and vulnerability remediation.

As a Database Engineer within our IT Systems & Solutions team, you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance and security of our Microsoft SQL Server environments. You will support day-to-day database operations, including troubleshooting, upgrades, and ensuring strong backup and disaster recovery practices.

You will also contribute to continuous improvement by optimizing performance, streamlining processes, and automating routine tasks. In this hands-on role, you will provide Service Desk support, proactively monitor system health and ensure timely resolution of issues to support a seamless experience for the business.

Key Responsibilities include:

What We’re Looking For:
