Job summary

Dayforce is seeking a Data Specialist I to monitor and process inbound/outbound interfaces for Managed clients, ensuring timely file transmission and receipt. The role supports finished data flows and client communications in a remote-friendly setup within the Philippines.

Responsibilities include monitoring exports/imports, generating export files, reporting, and maintaining SOPs. Training for Dayforce domain knowledge will be provided, with emphasis on accuracy and collaboration with the

Qualifications

  • Diploma in IT or higher education required.
  • At least 1 year of work experience in an office environment.
  • Dayforce domain knowledge desirable; training provided.
  • Strong time management and prioritization.
  • Business communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Analytical and reporting skills required.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • XML and SQL knowledge at basic/intermediate level.
  • Flexibility to work US hours and overtime as needed.

  • Generate export files and balance to payroll register.
  • Run reports and communicate results to clients via SFTP.
  • Adhere to SOPs and participate in updating SOP documents.
  • Collaborate with Implementation team for feeds development and delivery of tasks on schedule.

About The Opportunity

Dayforce is seeking a Data Specialist I to monitor and process inbound/outbound interfaces for Managed clients to ensure that all files are transmitted and received on time.

What You’ll Get To Do
  • Monitors scheduled exports files through Dayforce and tracker
  • Monitors scheduled imports files
  • Manual processing of imports files
  • Generation of export files
  • Reporting and balancing to the payroll register
  • Running Report and sending to client/SFTP
  • Validation of files
  • Basic investigation of failed imports
  • Case Management
  • Monitoring of shared inbox for error notifications or queries from clients promptly
  • Accurate and Timely update of SharePoint
  • Ensure requests are processed on time
  • Participate in maintaining SOP documents and tracking all changes
  • Ensures that all the defined process in SOP is adhered to
  • Notifies the appropriate distribution list for any issues with imports/exports
  • Work in collaboration with the Implementation team for feeds development
  • Achieve delivery of tasks following agreed schedules, procedures, and standards
  • Drive customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service
  • Execute corrective and preventive action plans
  • Record critical delivery data for metrics purposes
  • Aim at becoming a Subject Matter Expert in the process
  • Be an effective team player
  • Proactively highlight risks
  • Ensure that complaints are proactively escalated
  • Seek and respond to development feedback
  • Have an “I own it” attitude about deliverables, meeting deadlines and completing projects

Qualifications

  • Ability to work overtime (Weekday/Weekend) during the year-end season and including native-country public holidays, as-needed.
