Job summary

Tenet Global Business Center, Inc. seeks a Data Scientist to craft data-driven audit procedures using analytics and automation. You will extract data from HR and IT systems, analyze patterns, and automate audit workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy across the IS audit program.

Responsibilities include developing data stores, mapping data flows, and building solutions with automation and ML tools while participating in ITGC and SOX testing. Relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of related business experience.
• 1-2 years of experience in Data Analytics or Data Science.
• CISA, HCISPP, CISSP, CISM, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Query and analyze small and large datasets to discover patterns and deliver meaningful insights.
• Create, manage, and utilize structured and unstructured data stores.
• Develop system requirements, design and prototype solutions, conduct testing and training, and define support procedures to improve audit workflows.
• Map data flows and identify optimal design, architecture, governance options, and potential data quality risks.
• Develop solutions using automation, cognitive, visualization, and machine learning tools.
• Automate business processes through data analytics and automation platforms.
• Identify opportunities for business improvement and implement solutions.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries in a data warehouse environment.
• Perform IT General Controls (ITGC) testing, including user access, information security, SDLC, change management, backup and recovery, business continuity, and related risk areas.
• Complete SOX testing and documentation.
• Perform risk-based audits of information systems and operating procedures.
• Evaluate automated controls related to authentication, authorization, privacy, and data security.
• Maintain audit documentation and system-specific knowledge.
