Job summary

Vodafone Idea Limited is seeking a Data Scientist to join the Big Data and Advanced Analytics - Marketing team. You will develop predictive models, leverage AI/ML and cloud technologies, and collaborate with BI, IT and product teams to derive data-driven insights.

Must have strong Python and SQL skills, experience with AWS stack, and a track record of building analytics products for marketing. 2–7 years of relevant experience required, reporting to VP – Big Data & Advanced Analytics.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Master/PhD in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a quantitative field.
• Any Certification in Machine Learning/Deep Learning/AI or Data Science.
• Preferred Certifications in AI/ML and AWS Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Create business models to impact revenue and ARPU using predictive modeling and ML.
• Hands-on expertise in predictive modeling, AI/ML and cloud technologies.
• Build predictive analytics products across marketing verticals.
• Combine large-scale experimentation with statistical and ML methods to answer business questions.
• Use causal inference to design experiments and establish causality using data.
• Work with large, complex datasets from end-to-end analyses and present results to executives.
