Job summary

Philip Morris International is seeking a Data Scientist to transform data into actionable business insights using ML, AI, and statistical modeling. The role emphasizes scalable analytical solutions, cloud technologies, and Generative AI to drive value and data-driven decisions.

You will develop models, analyze data, and communicate insights to stakeholders. The position offers a hybrid pattern with on-site collaboration at The Finance Center in BGC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Advanced Analytics.
• Experience building and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of data governance and data management best practices.
• AWS, Machine Learning, or Data Science certifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, deploy, and optimize machine learning and AI models.
• Apply statistical, predictive, and prescriptive analytics techniques to solve business problems.
• Source, prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and model performance evaluation.
• Integrate machine learning and Generative AI solutions into business processes and workflows.
• Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions and continuous innovation.
