Job summary

Insight Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist for its AI Development team in Pasig, PH. The role blends in-office collaboration one day a week with four days remote, applying analytics and ML to solve enterprise problems across finance, HR, operations, and ecommerce.

You will build and evaluate models, support LLM-based applications, and drive data-driven decisions with Databricks, Python, and SQL. Collaboration with engineers and product owners is essential for productionizing outputs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Expert proficiency in Python with core data science libraries (Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, including PySpark, MLflow, and Databricks Workflows.
• Strong SQL skills for data exploration and feature engineering.
• Solid understanding of ML algorithms, model evaluation, and statistics.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to present to diverse audiences.
• Collaborative in Agile teams with engineers and product stakeholders.
• Nice to Have: experience with LLM evaluation/fine-tuning; PowerBI; background in CS/ Stats.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate ML models (regression, classification, time-series) using Databricks and Python.
• Support AI Developers with evaluation, fine-tuning, and benchmarking for LLMs.
• Perform exploratory data analysis with PySpark and SQL to uncover insights.
• Design and manage features with the Databricks Feature Store for reuse across projects.
• Champion MLOps practices using MLflow for experiment tracking and model versioning.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, AI Developers, and Product Owners to productionize models.

About this role

The Data Scientist on Insight's AI Development team applies analytical and machine learningexpertiseto solve business problems across the enterprise. While Insight's AI strategy is primarily centered on building applications withhyperscalermodels (Azure AI Foundry), there are opportunities to develop custom models for forecasting, classification, and optimization — as well as to support model evaluation, fine-tuning, and performance analysis for LLM-based applications. You will work across diverse domains (finance, HR, operations, ecommerce) wherever data-driven intelligence can drive impact.

What you’ll do in this role

• Develop andvalidatemachine learning models (regression, classification, time-series forecasting) to solve enterprise business problems using Databricks and Python.
• Support AI Developers with model evaluation, fine-tuning experiments, and performance benchmarking for LLM-based applications.

What we’re looking for

• Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a portfolio of completed projects.
• Programming:Expertproficiencyin Python with core data science libraries (Pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy).
• Data Platform:Hands-on experience with Databricks, includingPySpark,MLflow, and Databricks Workflows.
• SQL:Strong SQL skills for data exploration and feature engineering.
• ML Fundamentals:Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, model evaluation, and statistical methods.
• Communication:Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences.
• Collaboration:Comfortable working in Agile teams alongside engineers and product stakeholders.
• Nice to Have:Experience with LLM evaluation/fine-tuning; familiarity withPowerBI; background in a quantitative field (CS, Statistics, Mathematics).
