Job summary

Symbos, a data-driven BPO innovator, is seeking a Data Scientist to design, develop and deploy advanced analytics, ML and AI solutions across the business. You will collaborate with analysts, engineers and leaders to turn data into actionable insights that drive smarter decisions.

You will build predictive models in Python and SQL, develop Agentic AI solutions, and create scalable data pipelines while communicating findings through dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer or Advanced Analytics role.
• Strong Python and SQL development skills.
• Experience building and deploying predictive models and machine learning solutions.
• Strong understanding of statistical analysis, feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy advanced analytics, machine learning and AI solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Build predictive models, statistical frameworks and machine learning algorithms using Python and SQL.
• Develop Agentic AI and advanced analytical solutions across large and complex datasets.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model validation and performance optimisation.
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes and transformation workflows.
• Work with structured and unstructured data across cloud and enterprise environments.
• Present insights and recommendations through dashboards, visualisations and stakeholder presentations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and Technology teams to support data quality, governance and model deployment.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices across Data Science, AI, Machine Learning and Cloud Computing.

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Experience with MLOps and production model deployment.
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or other data visualisation tools.
