Job summary

FWD Life Philippines is looking for a data analytics professional to identify analytical use cases across marketing, distribution, and operations. The role involves designing end-to-end analytics solutions, building predictive models, and deploying them to support business decisions.

You will work with first- and third-party data, employ ML/NLP techniques, and contribute to Generative AI product initiatives to enhance business processes and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a data-related field is required.
• AWS/Azure certifications are an advantage but not required.
• 3–5 years' experience in data analytics andML/AI model development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Marketing, CX, Distribution & Operations to identify analytics use cases.
• Design and implement analytics solutions including data prep, feature engineering, modeling, deployment and tracking.

The position will support the identification and deployment of analytics use cases impacting the business. He/She will work with first party and third-party data to design, develop and implement predictive models and analytics solutions enabling FWD’s processes and decision making. He/She will support Persistency Analytics pillar and can be extended to cover Distribution Analytics focusing on augmenting agency recruitment activities. He/She will also support the creation of Generative AI products to support various areas of the business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with various business units such as Marketing, CX, Distribution & Operations to identify analytical use cases relevant to the business
2. Design and implement analytics solution which may include data preparation, feature selection/engineering, model development and implementation, deployment, and performance tracking.
3. Translate the result to actionable insights and present the same to stakeholders
4. Create proper documentations detailing the model development tasks and results.
5. Quantify impact of the analytics solution deployed.

Education & Certification

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or any related field
• AWS/ Azure/Microsoft Certification is an advantage but not required.

Experience

• 3-5 year’s experience in the field of Data Analytics
• Experience in end-to-end ML/AI model development lifecycle
• Exposure to LLMs or NLP techniques
• Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, ML libraries, Power BI, Microsoft services/tools
• Experience working in an AWS/Azure Cloud environment
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms and basic deep learning concepts
• Experience in documenting requirements, model builds and data lineage
• Ability to prepare results and communicate effectively at all levels
• Must be willing to learn new technologies
