Job summary

FWD Life Philippines in Manila seeks a Functional Systems Analyst to help businesses implement technology solutions cost-effectively by determining project requirements and communicating them clearly to stakeholders.

You will collaborate with technical resources on developing solutions, support automation and testing tools, and bring experience in life insurance systems to the team.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3+ years as Business or Systems Analyst.
• Experience in Insurance industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience with automation tools (Jira/Slack/Teams).
• Testing with Selenium, Appium, JUnit, etc.
• Cloud solutions experience is advantageous.
• Hands-on life insurance system development and implementation is desirable.

Job Purpose

The functional systems analyst’s primary objective is helping businesses implement technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program, and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners. Collaborates with the technical resources on the development of technical solutions to business problems.

Education & Certification

• B.S. in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field with computer applications
• Any relevant certification is an advantage: (such as but not limited to) CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) PSM (Professional Scrum Master) ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library)

Experience

• Preferably with more than 3 years previous experience as Business or Systems Analyst.
• Preferably from an Insurance industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications.
• Experience in automation tools is an advantage: Collaborations and tracking: Jira / Slack / Teams
• Testing: Selenium; Appium; Junit… etc.
• With experience in cloud solutions is an advantage
• Hands-on experience in Life insurance system development and implementation is an advantage.
