Job summary

Comrise is seeking an Analyst to join our benefits support team to contribute to data-driven reporting and client services across APAC regions.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with 3+ years in data analysis, strong Excel skills, and experience in health and benefits brokerage or insurance administration. This role requires collaboration with a global team and a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience as Data Analyst/Reports Analyst (Technical role).
  • Experience in benefits or insurance operations is a plus.
  • Strong numerical accuracy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced Excel skills and data entry/validation expertise are essential.

Job description

As an Analyst, you will contribute as part of a team involved in several activities to support our international benefits offerings.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have excellent data entry and manipulation skills. Also, exposure or background in the benefits brokerage / insurance administration work is required. The position would also require project management skills and some people management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the claims utilization and benchmarking report requirements of APAC countries
  • Perform data validation and processing work using agreed upon tools, standards and technique
  • Process, project and transaction management
  • Collect, validate and clean benefits enrolment and eligibility data
  • Support interactions between clients, company and insurance vendors
Performance Objectives:
  • Apply practice specific technology and provide high quality services to internal and external company clients
  • Perform data entry and validation, processing work using agreed upon tools, standards and techniques, including self-checking work and following review processes
  • Significant attention to detail and excellent data manipulation skills
  • Provide input on product and process improvements
  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on teams both in the office and virtually across regions
  • Work with Team Leader to ensure that each project is completed on time and meets quality standards
  • Respond to all requests and communications effectively and efficiently
  • Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes
  • Meet productivity goals
  • Monitor project progress, developing solutions for overcoming obstacles
  • Maintaining accurate time records
Job Requirements:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience as Data Analyst/Reports Analyst (Technical role).
  • Previous benefits or insurance experience a plus
  • Prior background in data analytics, insurance operations, or health and benefits brokerage preferred.
  • Strong numerical accuracy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and effective cross-cultural communication.
  • Experience with data entry, validation and manipulation (advanced Excel skills are essential)
  • Ability to review and check data against subject domain knowledge (e.g., health and group benefits) and understand the data’s applicability/accuracy for the designated purpose
  • Collaboration with a global team, include taking accountability for quality and on-time delivery of own work and involving other team members when appropriate
  • Must be flexible to work on hybrid work set up
