Job summary

ULTRA CLEAN TECHNOLOGY (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. in Cebu invites an experienced Data Protection Analyst to join our team. You will safeguard data, support compliance initiatives, and work hands-on with Microsoft Purview to detect risks and respond to alerts.

You will monitor data movement, tune DLP and labeling policies, collaborate with IT, Security, Legal and HR, and contribute to auditing and documentation for regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in information security, data protection, or compliance.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview or similar tools preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

• Configure and monitor data protection controls using Microsoft Purview.
• Monitor alerts and investigate potential data loss or misuse.
• Escalate high-risk incidents and support response efforts.
• Analyze user activity and data movement to identify risks.
• Assist in refining DLP and labeling policies.
• Support classification initiatives across Microsoft 365 workloads.
• Assist in audit activities and maintain documentation for compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with IT, Security, Legal, and HR on investigations.
