Job summary

Emapta Global is seeking a Lead Data Operations to drive complex data engineering programs that support critical operational and financial decisions. You will own delivery accountability, platform reliability, and stakeholder alignment while guiding a team across data engineering.

This hybrid role is based in Makati with onsite presence required; it offers global exposure, mentorship, and access to Emapta Academy along with career progression and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in data engineering, DevOps, DataOps, or technical program and delivery management, including at least three years leading data or platform engineering delivery initiatives.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream technical programs on time and within scope.
• Experience managing blended teams of internal employees and external engineering vendors.
• Working knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehouse and lakehouse concepts.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the engineering team's single point of accountability for scoping, sequencing, and tracking delivery across all active engineering programs.
• Represent Data Architecture and Delivery in cross-functional planning sessions and executive reviews.
• Report delivery progress, risks, and dependencies in clear business terms.
• Own the delivery calendar, including sprint and release planning, milestone tracking, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate internal engineers and external delivery partners with a shared backlog and aligned timelines.
• Escalate and resolve cross-team blockers and resourcing conflicts.
