Job summary

Emapta is seeking a Lead Data Operations to drive delivery across data engineering programs, ensure platform reliability, and align stakeholders for scalable, value-driven outcomes. You will own data pipelines, governance, and collaboration with Data Architecture and Delivery teams across global clients.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, mentoring blended teams, and optimizing CI/CD, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud architectures using AWS services and Databricks in a fast-paced hybrid setup

Qualifications

• Demonstrated track record leading data or platform engineering delivery initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of accountability for scoping, sequencing, and tracking delivery across active engineering programs.
• Represent Data Architecture and Delivery in cross-functional planning, steering committees, and executive reviews.
• Report delivery progress, risks, and dependencies in business terms.
• Own delivery calendar including sprint and release planning, milestones, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate internal engineers and external delivery partners with a shared backlog and aligned timelines.
• Escalate and resolve cross-team blockers before they affect commitments.
