Job summary

Thakral One Inc. in the Philippines seeks a Data Migration Lead to guide post-migration hypercare, ensure data stability and traceability, and close the migration program with audit-ready artifacts.

You will collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations, manage senior stakeholders, and drive issue resolution across data quality, reconciliation, mapping, ETL, and governance activities in a regulated banking environment.

Qualifications

• You have 10+ years of relevant experience, including leading complex data migration initiatives.
• You have experience in post-migration support/hypercare, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution.
• You have supported internal and external audits.
• You have managed senior stakeholders across IT, Business Operations, and Finance.
• You have experience with core banking or banking platform migrations (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Co-lead post-migration hypercare activities for the Core Banking Migration.
• Drive investigation and resolution of data quality, completeness, reconciliation, mapping, transformation, and integrity issues.
• Partner with Application Support, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Business/Data SMEs, and vendors to identify root causes and implement remediation.
• Ensure discrepancies are thoroughly investigated, remediated, and validated.
• Serve as the primary Data Migration SME for audits and coordinate responses to audit requests.
• Deliver governance documentation and reporting to Steering Committees and senior leadership.

As a Data Migration Lead, you will provide leadership and subject matter expertise during the post‑migration, hypercare, and project closure phases of a core banking data migration programme. You will ensure the stability, integrity, completeness, and traceability of migrated data, support resolution of outstanding migration issues, and facilitate audit readiness and formal closure within a regulated banking environment.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

Post‑Migration & Hypercare Leadership

• Co‑lead post‑migration hypercare activities for the Core Banking Migration.

• Drive investigation and resolution of data quality, completeness, reconciliation, mapping, transformation, and integrity issues.

• Partner with Application Support, Enterprise Data & Analytics, Business/Data SMEs, and vendors to identify root causes and implement remediation.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Serve as the primary Data Migration SME for internal and external audit activities.

• Coordinate responses to audit requests and ensure timely stakeholder engagement.

• Provide documentation, evidence, reconciliation results, approvals, testing evidence, issue logs, and governance records.

• Support Project Management in addressing audit observations and recommendations.

Governance & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive Data Migration Stream documentation to support governance, traceability, and closure.

• Deliver accurate reporting on outstanding migration issues to Steering Committees, senior management, and executive forums.

• You have 10+ years of relevant experience, including leading complex data migration initiatives.

• You have experience in post‑migration support/hypercare, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution.

• You have supported internal and external audits.

• You have managed senior stakeholders across IT, Business Operations, and Finance.

• You have experience with core banking or banking platform migrations (preferred).

Technical Expertise

• You have a strong understanding of data migration methodologies, including source‑to‑target mapping, ETL, data quality, and reconciliation.

• You know customer, loans, deposits, checks, and general ledger data.

• You understand reconciliation and validation processes.

• You are familiar with data quality frameworks and remediation practices.

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Management, Business, Finance, or related discipline.
