As a Data Governance Lead at China Banking Corporation, you will lead the Bank's data governance initiatives and help ensure that data is managed responsibly, securely, and consistently across the organization. You'll work closely with business, technology, compliance, risk, and data teams to strengthen governance practices, improve data quality, and support the Bank's data-driven transformation.

What You Will Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and enhance data governance policies, standards, and related frameworks across the Bank.
- Lead governance initiatives that promote data quality, accountability, compliance, and responsible data usage.
- Manage and maintain the Bank's centralized data governance inventory and governance documentation.
- Coordinate governance activities, reports, and committee meetings while tracking key actions and resolutions.
- Monitor compliance with governance controls and work with stakeholders to address risks, issues, and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT, Compliance, Information Security, Risk, and AI teams to embed governance into business and technology processes.
- Support data literacy, training, and awareness programs that strengthen governance culture across the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in data governance, data management, compliance, risk management, information security, or related disciplines.
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality management, access governance, metadata management, and data lifecycle concepts.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to data governance, privacy, and information security.
- Strong analytical, organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams while driving governance initiatives and process improvements.
