Job summary

DXC Technology Philippines is seeking a Data Engineer Manager to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and analytics assets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. You will collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data engineering solutions.

The role requires strong SQL/Python, semantic data modeling, and experience with Data Warehousing and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics datasets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high-volume, high-dimensional data supporting semantic data models, reporting, analytics, and AI use cases.
• Use SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks to ensure performant, reliable, and reusable data assets.
• Implement and manage analytics-ready data layers consumed by Power BI, and AI solutions.
• Support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms following the migration to Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data engineering solutions.

Job Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Semantic data modeling concepts.
• Experience building and supporting Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Qualifications

• Databricks : Python, PySpark, or Scala .
• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, notebooks).
• Microsoft BI ecosystem: Power BI, Analysis Services (Tabular , DAX ).
• Experience with Big Data, distributed processing, and cloud - based data architectures .
• Exposure to AI and Machine Learning use cases , including data preparation for ML/AI models.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, GitHub , and CI/CD .
