DXC Technology Philippines is seeking a Data Engineer Associate Manager to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics datasets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric. The role focuses on ETL/ELT processes for high-volume data supporting semantic data models, reporting, and AI use cases.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics datasets using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for high-volume, high-dimensional data supporting semantic data models, reporting, advanced analytics, and AI use cases.
• Use SQL, Python, and distributed data processing frameworks to ensure performant, reliable, and reusable data assets.
• Implement and manage analytics-ready data layers consumed by Power BI, and AI solutions.
• Support and enhance enterprise analytics platforms following the migration to Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.
• Collaborate with analytics, data science, and business teams to translate requirements into robust data engineering solutions.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience Required

• Strong expertise in SQL and Python.
• Semantic data modeling concepts.
• Experience building and supporting Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Other Qualifications/Skillsets

• Databricks: Python, PySpark, or Scala.
• Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouses, Data Pipelines, notebooks).
• Microsoft BI ecosystem: Power BI, Analysis Services (Tabular, DAX).
• Experience with Big Data, distributed processing, and cloud-based data architectures.
• Exposure to AI and Machine Learning use cases, including data preparation for ML/AI models.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops, GitHub, and CI/CD.
