Job summary

Masco Home Products India is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and operate ingestion, transformation, and Lakehouse data pipelines powering the enterprise data platform. You will implement ACID storage, schema enforcement, and versioning within Databricks on the Azure stack, with a focus on data quality and automation.

The role requires strong SQL/ETL skills, Python or Scala, and experience with cloud data services.

Qualifications

Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science/Engineering/Data Analytics or related field.
Hands-on experience building data engineering solutions on major cloud platforms, especially Azure ecosystem.
Experience delivering production pipelines and supporting them in an operational setting.
Strong ETL/ELT design and build experience with Python or Scala.
Proficiency with SQL, data modeling, and data governance practices.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain automated ingestion pipelines and multiple-source integration for retailer, HQ, and BU data on the Databricks and Azure data stack.
Develop RESTful APIs and API-based integrations for data acquisition and third-party sources.
Implement data quality checks, monitoring, and automated notifications across pipelines.
Support master data and attribution groundwork with enterprise specs.
Lead CI/CD pipelines for data workflows and ensure secure, scalable deployments.
