Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Data Engineer to design and implement scalable data infrastructure and develop ETL pipelines for analytical and operational needs. The role involves collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet business data requirements, optimize processes, and build robust data solutions in a cloud‑enabled environment.

The Data Engineer will transform raw data into actionable insights, support reporting and machine learning initiatives, and present ad hoc reports to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Must have 2-3 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with ETL processes.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL query languages.
• Experience with big data storage and processing solutions (SQL variants, MongoDB, Spark, Hive, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
• Experience with any cloud service or server‑based data processing.
• Experience in Java.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable big data infrastructure and solutions, leveraging available cloud resources.
• Design, create and maintain ETL processes and data pipelines for reporting and machine learning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to determine and satisfy business data requirements across various technology stacks.
• Optimize and automate existing business processes and procedures.
• Create and present ad hoc reports to key stakeholders.
