Job summary

MDW busca un Data Engineer para unirse a nuestro equipo y trabajar en proyectos de datos a escala empresarial, con experiencia en Microsoft Fabric y Azure.

Te encargarás de construir pipelines, gestionar datos y colaborar con clientes en un entorno ágil, con presencia internacional y trabajo 100% remoto dentro de España.

Qualifications

• Conocimiento en plataformas de datos en la nube (Azure).
• Experiencia con diseño de modelos de datos (estrellas, snowflake).
• Habilidades en Python y SQL para procesamiento y consultas.

Responsibilities

• Diseñar y entregar soluciones de datos en Azure, Fabric y Databricks.
• Llevar pipelines de datos end-to-end, desde procesamiento a datasets listos para BI.
• Colaborar con clientes en proyectos de forma presencial y remota en un equipo ágil.
• Mantener relaciones con stakeholders y garantizar entregas acordadas.

Your Role

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and work on cutting-edge, enterprise-scale Data projects with solid expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform, a proven consulting background, and strong interpersonal skills to support clients technically and in project management and delivery governance.

What You Will Do

• Design and deliver enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric and Azure data solutions, building robust pipelines and scalable data architectures across complex environments.
• Build and evolve Data Solutions on Azure, Microsoft Fabric and Databricks.
• Take end-to-end ownership of data pipelines, from data processing to BI-ready datasets.
• Deliver real consulting projects across industries, working in Agile teams and reacting quickly to evolving requirements.
• Provide personalized support to clients, working closely with them on-site in a hybrid model, ensuring effective collaboration and solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Build lasting relationships with end business stakeholders and own the commitments made to them.
• Collaborate with an international team of experts at MDW to grow together.

Technical Requirements

• Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Platform and Microsoft Fabric
• Experience with Azure services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Functions, Logic Apps, etc.)
• Strong skills in Python/PySpark and SQL
• Experience with data modelling: star schemas, snowflake schemas and medallion architecture
• Experience with CI/CD using Azure DevOps

Nice to Have

• Experience designing real-time workflows using technologies such as Kafka
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, ARM or Pulumi
• Knowledge of Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, Fabric Eventhouse, etc.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance tools such as Microsoft Purview

Soft Skills & Language

• Ability to make and honour commitments
• Ability to build relationships with end business stakeholders
• Strong client communication skills, ensuring effective management and a positive experience throughout the project
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Fluent in Spanish and English
