Overview
The Data Encoder is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into designated systems. This role requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to meet daily or weekly production goals.
Responsibilities
- Accurately enter data from various sources, including but not limited to paper documents, digital files, and audio recordings.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in data entry, meeting established productivity targets.
- Follow established data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Identify and resolve data entry discrepancies or errors. Escalate unresolved issues to the supervisor.
- Verify data entered for accuracy and completeness before submission.
- Maintain organized records of processed data.
- Understand and adhere to data security and confidentiality policies.
- Use provided software and hardware effectively and efficiently.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay updated on data entry procedures and new technologies.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in data entry techniques and keyboard skills (Specify required typing speed, e.g., 60 WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using computers and relevant software (Specify software, e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, specific database software).
