Job summary

PM Consulting in the Philippines seeks an Assistant Manager to support safe, reliable, and continuous operation of mission-critical data center facilities and infrastructure. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in data center operations, critical facilities, or a similar environment.
• Experience supervising engineers, technicians, operators, or technical teams.
• Familiarity with data center infrastructure and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of incident management, change management, preventive/corrective maintenance, risk management.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operation of mission-critical data center facilities and infrastructure.
• Ensure continuous availability of power, cooling, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Supervise facilities operations, monitoring, maintenance, and support.
• Follow SOPs, maintenance procedures, change management, and operational protocols.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance for critical systems (UPS, generators, CRAC/CRAH, HVAC, electrical distribution).
• Oversee 24/7 data center operations staffing and shift coverage.
• Monitor performance and KPIs; maintain dashboards.
• Coordinate incidents, escalations, and RCA; ensure actions and records.
• Manage vendor and service provider coordination; ensure service levels.
• Promote safety, compliance, and audit readiness; maintain documentation.
