Job summary

Sun Life is seeking an experienced Business Lead to drive the Data Lakehouse backbone in Life Insurance and Investments, focusing on Client and Marketing across multiple lines of business. You will lead squads of technical and business professionals, shaping data and analytics products that boost client experience and marketing performance.

Responsibilities include product ownership, backlog management, and defining OKRs, while collaborating with stakeholders and data end-users to ensure value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role in data-driven projects.
• Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and lakehouse architectures.
• Experience in Life Insurance and Investments industry is highly desirable.
• Experience in developing and deploying data analytics solutions in the Client Experience and Marketing domain.
• Proven track record of successful product delivery in Agile, Lean Incremental, or Waterfall methodology.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency in Confluence, JIRA, Tableau, Erwin Data Modeler, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of the Data Backbone solution across Life Insurance and Investments.
• Own product backlog, backlog refinement, and user stories for the Client & Marketing workstream.
• Define and track OKRs; contribute to business cases and KPIs.
• Drive adoption of dashboards, dashboards, and data warehouse features for end-users.
• Collaborate with Product Manager, stakeholders, and squads to ensure timely delivery.
