Job summary

AS White Global in Manila is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end data engineering within Microsoft Fabric, building pipelines, lakehouse and warehouse solutions that support reporting and business decisions.

You’ll ingest data from multiple sources using SQL, Python, notebooks, and dataflows; develop, deploy and monitor ETL/ELT pipelines; optimize data models and collaborate with a regional team, with hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and data lakehouse/warehouse.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data ingestion, transformation, troubleshooting.
• Experience delivering end-to-end data pipelines and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain end-to-end data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
• Connect and ingest data from multiple source systems using SQL, Python, notebooks and dataflows.
• Develop, deploy and monitor ETL/ELT and data pipelines following medallion architecture.
• Maintain and optimise lakehouse, warehouse, queries and data models for performance, reliability and scalability.
• Prepare trusted, analytics-ready data views for the BI team; support semantic models where required.
• Manage Git integration, version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Troubleshoot data and pipeline issues, complete testing and maintain technical documentation.
• Manage Jira requests and follow data governance, security, access control and change-approval processes.

Key Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of hands-on data engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, pipelines, notebooks and dataflows.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data ingestion, transformation and troubleshooting.
• Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using medallion architecture.
• Knowledge of Git, version control and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Understanding of data governance, security, access controls and change-management processes.
• Organised, proactive and collaborative, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Power BI, semantic modelling, DAX, PL-300 certification, or regulated-industry experience is a plus.

Work setup

• Manila (BGC, Taguig): 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Philippines time with a hybrid setup (1 day at office, 4 days from home).
