Job summary

WSP is seeking a Data Analyst for Sustainability and Climate Change in the Philippines. The role focuses on managing project data, data entry, verification, trend analysis, and visualization to support client decisions on sustainability performance.

Responsibilities include data collection from multiple sources, preparing reports, and assisting Senior Consultants. Competencies include strong Excel skills, Power BI, and effective communication within a team-driven advisory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance or related field.
• 2-3 years degree in engineering, finance or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (data validation, conditional formatting, pivot tables, charts).
• Proficient in MS Word and Power Point.
• Experience with data visualization tools; Power BI will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to deliver tasks within agreed timelines while following QA procedures.
• Ability to present data using charts, graphs, maps; familiarity with statistics.

Responsibilities

• Creating spreadsheets, graphs, and reports project performance against key performance indicators.
• Collecting and analysing data to identify patterns, trends, insights, and potential solutions.
• Using charts, graphs, tables, and other visual representations of data to present findings to the Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory team and external clients.
• Verifying data and making necessary changes.
• Reviewing, extracting, aligning, and presenting data obtained from multiple sources.
• Assisting more Senior Consultants with the analysis of information.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and other documentation under supervision.
• Participating in internal meetings and any other meetings when required.
• Continuing professional development through participation in internal knowledge share sessions, informal learning on projects, and formal training.
