Job summary

WSP in Manila is seeking a Data Analyst to manage project data and provide insights for sustainability projects. You will collate, verify, and analyze data, identify trends, and visualize findings for the Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory team and external clients.

The role requires strong Excel skills, data visualization (Power BI), and the ability to work independently or with a team to deliver reports on schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of degree experience in engineering, finance or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel with data validation, conditional formatting, pivot tables and charts.
• Proficient in MS Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data visualization tools; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create spreadsheets, graphs, and reports tracking project performance against key metrics.
• Collect and analyse data to identify patterns, trends, insights, and potential solutions.
• Present findings using charts, graphs, tables to the Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory team and external clients.
• Verify data and make necessary changes.
• Review, extract, align, and present data from multiple sources.
• Assist senior consultants with data analysis.
• Prepare reports and other documentation under supervision.
• Participate in internal and client meetings.
• Pursue professional development through knowledge sharing and training.

The Role is responsible for managingproject data to provide insightsto clientsonsustainability projects.Day-to-day tasks include data collation & entry, verification for data integrity,analysis to identify trends, and visualization to present findings.In this role, the successful candidatewill assist clients in making informed decisions to improve their sustainability performance.

Main Activities and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)

• Creating spreadsheets, graphs, and reports project performance against key performance.
• Collecting and analysing data to identify patterns, trends, insights, and potential solutions.
• Using charts, graphs, tables, and other visual representations of data to present findings in an easy-to-understand way to theSustainability and Climate Change Advisory team and external clients.
• Verifying data and making necessary changes.
• Reviewing, extracting, aligning, and presenting data obtained from multiple sources.
• Assisting more Senior Consultants with the analysis of information.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports and other documentation under supervision.
• Participating in internal meetings and any other meetings when required.
• Continuing professional development through participation in internal knowledge share sessions, informal learning onprojects, and formal training.

Qualifications (Minimum and Desirable):

• Degree in Engineering, Data Science, Finance or other relevant tertiary qualifications.
• 2-3 years degree in engineering (desired but not required), finance or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including use of data validation, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and charts.
• Proficient in MS Word and Power Point.
• Experience with data visualization tools with Microsoft Power BI will be highly regarded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to interpret and carry out instructions well.
• Deliver tasks within an agreed timeline while following QA procedures.
• Ability to use charts, graphs, maps, and other visual representations of data to help present findings. Familiarity with statistical methods and data visualization techniques
