Job summary

Cambridge University Press & Assessment in Manila is seeking a Data Analyst to transform complex data into clear, reliable insights and scalable reports. The role operates in a hybrid setup with overlapping UK hours and a permanent employment type, located in Makati.

You'll own dashboards, automate reporting workflows with Power Automate, and collaborate with stakeholders to enable self-service analytics while upholding data governance standards in a global environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI data modelling and DAX.
• Proficient in SQL-based systems and ETL processes.
• Ability to translate business needs into reporting solutions for stakeholders.
• Strong data governance and data quality discipline.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot Studio is a plus.

What will you do as a Data Analyst Reporting to the Head of Operations Resilience & Services Strategy, your accountabilities will include:

• Acquire, manage and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability
• Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
• Strengthen data governance by maintaining data definitions, documentation, quality checks and access controls
• Develop automation solutions using Power Automate to streamline reporting processes and data workflows
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions and improve self-service data access

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

• Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, interactive dashboard and report development, visualisation best practices, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL-based systems and databases, as well as ETL frameworks and processes. Solid understanding of data structures, reporting concepts, and best practices for delivering actionable insights. Applies data governance principles to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Communicates complex data clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to data challenges.

Desirable:

• Shows ability to use Power Automate to streamline workflows and reporting processes
• Displays initiative in leveraging AI tools such as Copilot Studio or similar technologies
• Demonstrates experience using Python or other tools for data analysis or automation
