Cambridge University Press is hiring a Data Analyst to join the International Property & Services team in a hybrid setup. You will own smarter decision-making by transforming complex data into clear, reliable insights and scalable reporting solutions.

The role reports to the Head of Operations Resilience & Services Strategy and involves building Power BI dashboards, data governance, and automation with Power Automate.

Qualifications

• Power BI data modelling, DAX, dashboards and reporting.
• Experience with SQL-based systems and ETL.
• Understanding of data structures and reporting concepts.
• Ability to apply data governance for quality and compliance.
• Clear communication of complex data to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive problem-solving and ownership of data challenges.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, manage and transform data from multiple sources for accuracy.

Work setup: We operate in a hybrid work environment, and we encourage applicants who are open to working in the office two days a week to apply.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 3PM to 11PM Manila time, overlaps with UK operating hours

Employment type: Permanent

Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Pay range: Php 33,000 to Php 44,000

What will you do as a Data Analyst?

Reporting to the Head of Operations Resilience & Services Strategy, your accountabilities will include:

• Acquire, manage and transform data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, consistency and usability
• Build, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to deliver clear, actionable insights to stakeholders
• Strengthen data governance by maintaining data definitions, documentation, quality checks and access controls
• Develop automation solutions using Power Automate to streamline reporting processes and data workflows
• Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective reporting solutions and improve self-service data access

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?

Essential:

• Power BI expertise, including data modelling, DAX, interactive dashboard and report development, visualisation best practices, and performance tuning.
• Strong proficiency in SQL-based systems and databases, as well as ETL frameworks and processes.
• Solid understanding of data structures, reporting concepts, and best practices for delivering actionable insights.
• Applies data governance principles to ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance.
• Communicates complex data clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, ownership-driven approach to data challenges.

Desirable:

• Shows ability to use Power Automate to streamline workflows and reporting processes
• Displays initiative in leveraging AI tools such as Copilot Studio or similar technologies
• Demonstrates experience using Python or other tools for data analysis or automation
