You will gather legacy system data, validate completeness, and transform it into import-ready formats. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required during peak migrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and HTML familiarity.

Job description

Overview The Implementation Data Analyst will coordinate implementation projects with RealPage clients who choose to submit their migration data through a file extract rather than through system reports. This position will also be required to develop automated tools that can be used to parse data from multiple reports and merge them together in preparation for data migration.

The Implementation Data Analyst will gather the required data from the client’s legacy system, confirm all required data is included and manipulate the data into a usable format for importing. This position has heavy emphasis on Excel/VBA work. This position will assist the data migration team with data or conversion tool issues during the data migration process and also completing data migrations during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with enterprise clients to gather required data from legacy system Manipulate Excel/CSV data to produce meaningful reports and information
• Perform data quality review to ensure all required data has been submitted and appears to be valid Identify and analyze data discrepancies and resolve appropriately Create scripts, templates, and tools to streamline and automate the conversion process
• Communication to client of deadlines for data delivery to meet conversion schedule requirements Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify requirements Management of multiple data migration projects within a given week
• Develop and maintain quality relationships and communication with client teams Facilitate data review and implementation meetings with client and participating RealPage implementation teams Assist the data migration team with analyzing and reformatting data received
• Assist the data migration team during peak periods by personally completing data migrations Create and maintain technical documents, checklists, and procedures for new and existing solutions Participate with testing of defect and bug fixes from development
• Train and support teammates to ensure they grasp the knowledge needed for their role

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Accounting preferred Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Excellent analytical abilities to grasp the key points from complicated details
• Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint), Outlook and HTML Previous implementation or IT project management experience required Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
• A results oriented individual who thrives working in a fast paced environment Ability to effectively communicate with Executive Level clients regarding project deliverables Proven ability to provide solid customer service
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed to ensure deliverables are met Familiarity with RealPage products, SharePoint and SalesForce.com a plus
