Job summary

APW Tech is seeking a seasoned security professional in the Philippines to lead multi-domain security initiatives. The role demands 5+ years across security/risk, architecture, IAM or operations, plus 2+ years securing data in cyber platforms.

CISSP is a plus and strong policy, governance and incident-response skills are essential. You will oversee network and infrastructure security, configure CISCO/Juniper platforms, and drive safe system design while maintaining clear security documentation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of practical experience across at least two security domains (security/risk management, security architecture/engineering, IAM, or security operations).
• 2+ years’ experience securing data in a cyber security platform.
• CISSP certification is a plus
• Experience developing security policies, managing risks, incident response, secure system design, access control, and governance frameworks.
• At least 1 year experience in network management and infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, configuration and patching.
• MS Office experience (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• 2+ years implementing and supporting network and security deployment.
• Knowledge of VAPT testing.
• Knowledge configuring Cisco and Juniper platforms.
• Good communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain security policies and governance frameworks.
• Manage risk, monitor threats, and coordinate incident response.
• Design secure systems and enforce access controls across environments.
• Lead security architecture and security operations improvements.

Job description

• The resource possesses at least 5 years of practical experience on any 2 security fields such as security and risk management, security architecture and engineering, Identity and access management (IAM) or security operations
• The resource possesses at least 2 years’ experience in managing and securing data in a cyber security platform.
• Having a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification is considered a plus
• The resource should possess developing security policies, managing risks, responding to incidents, designing secure systems, controlling user access, and establishing security governance frameworks.
• Has at least one year experience in network management and network infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, configuration and version patching are a plus
• Has at least 1 year experience using MS word, MS PowerPoint and MS excel.
• Has at least 2 years’ experience in implementing and supporting network and security deployment.
• Has knowledge in VAPT testing
• Has knowledge in configuring and maintaining CISCO and Juniper platforms
• Has good communication and written skills.
