Job summary

Lennor Metier Consulting is partnering with a local leader in the manufacturing industry in Makati to recruit a Cybersecurity Engineer. Your responsibilities include configuring, maintaining, and supporting network and security architecture, implementing robust authentication and access controls, and responding effectively to security incidents.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in security fields, 2+ years in data security, and strong knowledge of CISCO/Juniper networks, with CISSP a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in two security fields such as security and risk management, security architecture/engineering, IAM or security operations.
• 2+ years securing data in a cybersecurity platform.
• CISSP certification is a plus.
• Developing security policies, managing risks, responding to incidents, designing secure systems, access control.
• At least 1 year in network management and infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration.
• 2+ years implementing and supporting network and security deployments.
• Knowledge of VAPT testing.
• Knowledge in configuring CISCO and Juniper platforms.
• Strong written and spoken communication.

Salary Range: up to ₱80,000

Work Setup: Hybrid

Shift Schedule: Day Shift

Location: Makati

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting network and security architecture
• Demonstrates extensive experience and proficiency in cyber security/information security practices.
• Proactively identifying and addressing risks to protect against cyberthreats that can disrupt internal ang external client productivity
• Ensures only authorized users can access sensitive information and systems. The resource to recommend strong authentication mechanisms, access controls, and monitoring systems that can protect the client’s data from breaches and malicious activities by preventing unauthorized access.
• The resource prepares for and effectively responds to security incidents through detection and response strategies.
• The resource is responsible for regular security assessments, employee training on security best practices, and the use of secure technology such as firewalls and encryption
• The resource will be able to adapt and implement network and security upgrades across cloud and on-premise server environments.
• Prepared to travel locally for onsite support as required by clients or projects.
• Can work long hours, weekends, and holidays based on project priorities and deadlines.
• Capable of making informed decisions and solving problems independently with minimal supervision.
• Takes ownership and accountability for their work and outcomes without constant oversight.
• Possesses the requisite skills and knowledge to effectively perform assigned tasks.
• Manages time efficiently to meet deadlines and achieve project objectives.
• Works independently while maintaining open communication channels for updates and feedback.

What We're Looking For

• The resource possesses at least 5 years of practical experience on any 2 security fields such as security and risk management, security architecture and engineering, Identity and access management (IAM) or security operations
• The resource possesses at least 2 years’ experience in managing and securing data in a cyber security platform.
• Having a Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) certification is considered a plus
• The resource should possess developing security policies, managing risks, responding to incidents, designing secure systems, controlling user access, and establishing security governance frameworks.
• Has at least one year experience in network management and network infrastructure security.
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows administration, configuration and version patching are a plus
• Has at least 1 year experience using MS word, MS PowerPoint and MS excel.
• Has at least 2 years’ experience in implementing and supporting network and security deployment.
• Has knowledge in VAPT testing
• Has knowledge in configuring and maintaining CISCO and Juniper platforms
• Has good communication and written skills.
