Job summary

Asurion in the Philippines seeks a Cyber Intrusion Analyst II for the Cyber Command Center. You will monitor, analyze, and respond to security events, collaborating with IT Operations, Development, and Cloud Governance to strengthen enterprise protections.

Responsibilities include intrusion detection, log analysis, vulnerability management, forensics support, and contributing to cloud security posture. Occasional weekend/evening coverage may be required to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in CS or related field; MS preferred.
• Experience with intrusion detection, log analysis, and vulnerability management.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA) desired.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors intrusion detection systems and related security sensors.
• Collects, assesses, and reports threat intelligence and security information.
• Responds to Tier I & II alerts and security events.
• Assesses network traffic for indicators of malicious activity.
• Supports forensic investigations and penetration testing activity.
• Contributes to cloud security posture improvements at Asurion.
