Job summary

General Motors Company Philippines offers a hybrid role ideal for students in Engineering, Economics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Interested in or experience in automotive parts and their functions.
• Knowledge in customs classification and customs legislation is a plus.
• Willing to work on mid shift.

Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid on mid shift (1pm to 10pm) . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to GM Philippines office three times per week or other frequency dictated by the business.

What You’ll Do

• Perform engineering research to identify technical specifications
• Analyze Customs Explanatory Notes for the Harmonized Tariff Schedule
• Assign Harmonized System (HS) tariff codes and foreign descriptions to goods
• Perform routine consistency and quality reviews
• Provide status updates to leaders

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Studying Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Economics, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must be interested in or have experience in automotive parts and its functions
• Knowledge in customs classification and customs legislation is an advantage
• Willing to work on mid shift
