Job summary

SF Express Philippines Inc. is seeking a Customs Customer Service Representative to assist the Customs and Operations teams. You will monitor shipments, prepare import/export documents, notify brokers, and manage manifests to ensure timely clearance.

The role requires 1–2 years in customs or related logistics, strong communication, and attention to detail. You will work with carriers and service providers to keep clients updated on shipment status and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Customs Administration or any related course.
• 1–2 years of experience as a Customs CSR or in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, import/export documentation, or related logistics.
• Experience in import/export documentation procedures.
• Licensed Customs Broker is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Proficiency in using fax/email communication tools.
• Knowledge of shipping schedules and logistics processes is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced work environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist Customs Representative and Operations team in monitoring, documentation, and processing of shipments.
• Prepare import/export documentation (Bill of Lading, Manifest, packing list, invoices).
• Notify brokers/consignees regarding incoming shipments.
• Submit manifests and check with service providers/shipping lines for updates.
• Send routing orders and provide status updates to clients throughout shipment stages until delivery.
• Follow up with carriers/forwarding agents/airlines to ensure timely clearance and delivery.
• Receive fax/email messages for pre-alerts of inbound/outbound shipments.
• Monitor shipping schedules and communicate with relevant parties.
• Assist in manifest submission and update checks for shipments.
