Job summary

Bank of the Philippine Islands is seeking a Customer Sales and Service Associate to handle financial and non-financial customer transactions across branch locations including Tarlac City, Cabanatuan, Gapan, Paniqui and San Jose. The role focuses on accurate transaction processing and excellent service delivery.

The CSSA will perform deposits, withdrawals, bill payments, fund transfers, and account opening, while also promoting bank products.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Processing – Provides fast and accurate delivery of banking transactions and services.
• Processes over-the-counter transactions such as cash and check deposits, withdrawals, encashment/check payments, bills payments and other sundry transactions.
• Processes auxiliary transactions including foreign exchange, remittance, bills purchase, debit card and checkbook requests, bank statements, and related tasks.
• Maintains cash supply within prescribed limits and balances end-of-day transactions.
• Performs account opening and ensures single customer RM records are used.
• Conducts KYC and explains terms and conditions to customers; ensures documents are complete and filed.
• Proactively updates customer contact information and bank records; handles amendments as needed.
• Secures approvals for transactions beyond authority; conducts enhanced due diligence when applicable.
• Operations, Control and Risk – Maintains branch operations per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Attends to end-of-day cash balancing and reports discrepancies.
• Safeguards passwords and keys; manages security and risk-related tasks.
• Performs custodianship functions and prepares letters to clients for financial matters.
• Onboards clients to digital channels and supports cross-selling to CRM leads.
• Performs other functions as assigned from time to time.
