Job summary

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) Consulting is recruiting a Customer Master Data Practitioner to handle OTC tasks including customer masterdata, billing, invoicing, credit management, and cash application. You will establish client relationships and ensure activities meet SLAs while coordinating with teams for timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduate with 1–2 years in Order to Cash (O2C) and basic accounting knowledge.
• Understanding of general finance concepts.
• Experience with Customer Masterdata Management, Order and Credit Management, Billing, Collections, Deductions and Cash Application.
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce or large ERP.
• Experience in team meetings to share information.
• Ability to meet individual and business metrics.
• Proven accuracy and timeliness in baseline/project goals.
• Intermediate MS Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process customer orders in the system.
• Verify order details and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill orders.
• Highlight incorrect orders to clients for revalidation.
• Assist in generating invoices and verify accuracy.
• Deliver invoices to customers on time.
• Monitor assigned client portfolio and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Resolve disputes and payment issues.
• Maintain records of customer transactions and payment status.
• Support bank reconciliation and cash application targets.
