Equicom Health Services Inc. (Myhealth Clinic) is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to operate CT equipment safely and efficiently, obtaining diagnostic images to support patient care.
The role requires completing exams per physician orders, verifying instructions with radiologists, and maintaining patient confidentiality while adhering to safety guidelines. A B.S. in Radiologic Technology and active licensure are preferred, with at least 1 year of CT experience.
Responsible for providing quality accurate and reliable service by operating all routine CT Scan equipment in a safe and
proficient manner to obtain diagnostic images that will be used in the prevention, diagnosis or treatment of diseases.
1. Performs exams properly and in a timely manner
2. Performs CTs, positions patient in order to obtain desired CT procedure results
3. Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check as needed
4. Verifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists as necessary
5. Conducts review of patients’ medical history, provides clear instruction and informs that patients’ exposure are set on established guidelines Perform diagnostic CT scans under the direction of a radiologist
6. Records the result, prepares reports, and maintains patients’ confidence by keeping information confidential
7. Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CAT Scan procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail
8. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to acquire Cat Scan images for radiological diagnosis
9. Participates in capacity building activities on safety and health and other OSH related topics and programs.
10. Proper uses all safeguards and safety devices furnished for workers' protection and that of others.
11. Complies with instructions to prevent accidents or imminent danger situations in the workplace.
12. Observe prescribed steps to be taken in cases of emergency including participation in the conduct of national or local disaster drill.
13. Reports to immediate supervisor or any other responsible safety and health personnel any work hazard that may be discovered in the workplace.
14. Accomplishes departmental goals by performing other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Graduate of B.S in Radiologic Technology
At least 1 year of experience in the same capacity, preferably gained from the same industry
