Job summary

BDO Unibank, Inc. in Makati seeks a detail-oriented Credit Assistant to support loan processing and billing operations at the branch. You will consolidate billings, monitor takeout deductions, and assist the Credit Officer with loan reviews, MIS reporting, and data encoding.

Fresh graduates are welcome; a Business-related degree together with strong communication and numerical skills are preferred. This role requires on-site work at the Makati office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree relevant to the job, preferably Business course.
• Fresh graduates welcome; at least 1 year experience preferred but open to fresh grads.
• Proficiency in computer and business applications.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Effective presentation and negotiation skills.
• Effective interpersonal and people management skills.
• Good problem solving and numerical skills.
• Willing to work onsite in Makati.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and submit billings in a timely manner.
• Monitor takeout account billing deductions effectively.
• Assist and act as back-up for the Credit Assistant.
• Review and process loan applications for salary loans per policy, ensuring requirements are complete and schedule releases.
• Provide MIS, reports and forms per standard process; assist Credit Officer in loan processing and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the timely consolidation and submission of complete billings.
• Responsible for the effective monitoring of takeout account billing deductions.
• Assists and acts as the back-up of the Credit Assistant.
• Responsible for the initial review and processing of loan applications in accordance with the established policies and procedures for salary loans, including ensuring loan requirements are complete prior loan release/booking, assist with the scheduling of loan releases, filing and warehousing applications and documents, organizing loan folders, encoding of necessary data and results into the loans system/s, and the like.
• Provides regular MIS, reports and forms according to standard process and requirements. Assists the Credit Officer in activities required in the processing, checking, evaluating, and maintaining of loans.

Qualifications
