Job summary

AMA Computer College Inc. is seeking an experienced College Dean (CS/IT) to lead the Computer Science and Information Technology programs at our La Union campus. This full-time role drives strategic direction, academic quality, and program success to keep pace with industry needs.

You will oversee curriculum development, faculty leadership, accreditation compliance, budgeting, and industry partnerships, while advancing student recruitment, retention, and outcomes across CS/IT offerings.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in an academic leadership or management role.
• Proven track record of leading academic departments or colleges, with evidence of improving academic quality and student outcomes.
• Strong understanding of curriculum development, accreditation standards, and quality assurance processes in higher education.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in budget management and financial planning.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and foster an inclusive, supportive academic environment.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt programs accordingly.
• Knowledge of the Philippine higher education landscape and regulatory environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and strategic direction for CS/IT programs, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and industry standards
• Oversee curriculum development, review, and enhancement to ensure programs remain current with technological advances and market demands
• Recruit, manage, mentor, and support faculty and academic staff, fostering a culture of professional development and excellence
• Ensure academic standards and quality assurance across all CS/IT offerings, including program accreditation and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage budget allocation and financial resources for the college, ensuring efficient utilization and accountability
• Foster industry partnerships and collaborative relationships with technology companies, professional organizations, and other educational institutions
• Oversee student recruitment, retention, and success initiatives, promoting engagement and achievement
• Conduct regular program evaluations and implement improvements based on student outcomes and stakeholder feedback
• Represent the college at institutional meetings and external professional forums
• Support the development of research and innovation initiatives within the college
