Job summary

Cloudstaff in the Philippines seeks a seasoned AML Operations leader to supervise team leads conducting investigations of cryptocurrency deposits, withdrawals, and related activity. You will manage multi-team workflows, drive consistent risk-based decisioning, and escalate complex cases with blockchain tracing expertise.

You will partner with compliance, legal, and product teams to enhance processes, ensure audit-ready case files, and deliver executive-level updates on performance and risk.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AML monitoring, suspicious activity, sanctions, fraud, or KYC/EDD in finance/crypto.
• 3+ years of experience managing team leads, supervisors, or analysts in a production setting.
• Ability to analyze investigation trends and guide consistent procedures and risk-based decisions.
• Knowledge of BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN, OFAC as relevant to digital assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee team leads responsible for AML investigations across crypto activity.
• Manage daily/weekly operating rhythm: staffing, targets, escalation queues, aging cases.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex investigations (blockchain tracing, high-risk typologies).
• Ensure consistent case review standards, evidence support, and disposition rationales.
• Coach leads on people management, workload, escalation handling, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee QA/QC, calibration, and corrective action plans across teams.
• Prepare executive updates on performance, trends, and risks for clients and leadership.
• Identify typologies and control gaps; escalate and track issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with compliance, legal, product, operations, and tech to improve workflows and systems.
• Lead updates to procedures, guides, and training materials for new typologies or policies.
• Ensure complete, audit-ready case files with evidence, traces, and calculations.
