GrowthAssistant connects top marketing and operations talent with fast-growing companies that depend on great execution to scale. Founded in 2021 and named by Forbes as one of the best startups to work at, we're a permanently remote team that runs on integrity, proactive candor, and a bias toward action — and we prioritize the human experience in everything we do. We hire for skill and for heart, and we invest in our people for the long haul.
The Opportunity
We're hiring an CRM Incident & QA Support Specialist for a leading on-demand consumer marketplace that reaches millions of customers. This role keeps promotions running when the rest of the team is offline: you monitor alerts, diagnose and resolve promo issues as they surface, and work with campaign owners to fix root causes rather than symptoms. Alongside that incident work, you serve as a quality gate on the CRM and email calendar, reviewing campaigns, flows and promotional setups before they launch so that copy, code, targeting and deliverability are all correct the first time. It is a role for someone who is calm under a live issue, precise on a pre-launch checklist, and disciplined about writing down what happened so the next person does not have to rediscover it.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like
- Alert Monitoring: Continuously check monitoring tools and systems for alerts that signal a live promotion is at risk.
- Incident Triage: Quickly diagnose and resolve promo issues, taking preliminary measures to limit impact and working with the campaign DRI to fix the root cause.
- Escalation: Escalate to the right team or specialist when an issue exceeds your scope, and raise it to marketing leadership when it carries significant risk.
- Incident Documentation: Keep detailed logs of each incident: what happened, the steps taken to resolve it, and any follow-up required, while noting recurring customer-experience gaps.
- Campaign QA: Run quality assurance on CRM and email deliverables, covering templates, popups, campaigns, flows and SMS, checking branding, copy, products and target groups for consistency.
- Pre-Launch Checks: Verify the technical setup of campaigns and flows before launch so the strategy, deliverability and audience targeting all hold up.
- Campaign Execution Support: Own the preparation and execution of CRM tactics including promotions, in-app banners, emails and customer lists, and join the daily stand-up to review workload.
- Documentation & SLA Tracking: Maintain campaign documentation such as tickets, overviews, internal calendars and status docs, and flag SLA violations and QA misses to the lead.
What You Bring
- Dashboard Fluency: Experience using and modifying business dashboards such as Tableau, Power BI, Chronosphere or Sigma.
- CRM & ESP Experience: Intermediate experience with CRM tools such as Braze, Iterable or Salesforce, 2+ years on an ESP platform, and 1+ years of QA-specific work on CRM campaigns.
- Cross-Functional Troubleshooting: A track record of working with cross-functional partners to identify, root-cause and mitigate issues, and of documenting incidents and the protocols that catch them faster next time.
- Technical Foundations: Basic SQL such as inner and left joins, basic HTML, and comfort with JIRA, Slack, Google Workspace and Google Sheets.
- Campaign Review Experience: Experience reviewing, updating and scheduling digital campaigns spanning copy, code and creative.
- Precision Under Deadline: Exceptional attention to detail, highly proficient written and spoken English, and the discipline to double-check and test everything before it ships.
Bonus Points if:
- You have built dashboards or alerts that surface anomalies before they turn into incidents.
- You have created documents to track incidents and their mitigations.
- You have worked in the tech industry or with an app-centric client.
