Job summary

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking a Specialist, Credit Management to join our Global Business Services team. The role focuses on assessing credit risk, managing receivables, reducing bad debt, and supporting efficient working capital across markets.

You will collaborate with Finance, Customer Service and business stakeholders, review blocked orders, monitor collections, and prepare KPI reports. Proficiency in SAP, Excel and English is required; night shift is part of the initial schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years' experience in Credit Management or related finance function.
• Strong knowledge of credit risk assessment and receivables management.
• Experience with SAP and Excel for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer creditworthiness and set limits and terms.
• Review and release blocked orders per credit policies.
• Monitor receivables, drive collections, and resolve disputes.
• Manage bad debt forecasting and write-off processes.
• Handle credit inquiries and provide timely support.
• Prepare KPI reports and support process improvements.
