Job summary

Salmon Bank seeks a Credit Risk Manager, Credit Administration to safeguard the bank's credit portfolio from disbursement to closure. This role sits at the heart of our credit control environment, ensuring loans are booked, monitored, and closed in full compliance with terms, regulatory requirements, and internal policy.

The successful candidate will oversee pre-disbursement control, disbursement authorization, and post-booking monitoring, maintaining data integrity and supporting examinations.

Qualifications

• Strong background in credit administration, risk, or loan operations.
• Understanding of credit approval processes and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with loan documentation and collateral management.
• Knowledge of portfolio monitoring and risk controls.
• Ability to operate as an independent control function separate from origination.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Disbursement Control: validate compliance before loan disbursement.
• Disbursement Authorization: approve releases aligned with credit approvals.
• Loan Booking and Record Integrity: ensure accurate booking and reconciliation.
• Credit and Collateral Custodianship: maintain documentation and security instruments.
• Post-Booking Monitoring and Exception Management: monitor conditions and escalate issues.
• Loan Settlement and Closure: administer settlements and close records.
• Regulatory Reporting and Examination Support: assist with regulatory data and audits.
• Control and Compliance Oversight: maintain independent controls and standards.
