Job summary

GCash is seeking a senior analyst to shape credit risk strategies for both direct consumers and partner channels. The role involves analyzing large datasets on loan originations, portfolio performance, and partner activity to inform policy and underwriting standards.

You will work with Products, Tech, Sales, and BD to scale risk mitigation and drive compliant, efficient loan processes. A quantitative degree and strong data skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related quantitative field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Ideally experience in consumer credit risk management or similar analytical role within financial services.
• Exposure to hybrid risk models such as embedded finance, BNPL, marketplace lending, or partner-led channels is highly advantageous.
• Strong understanding of lending products, credit lifecycles, and automated risk principles.
• Experience with credit scoring models, statistical analysis, and risk assessment techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for retail and consumer lending.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit risk across direct retail and partner-led segments.
• Develop and optimize acquisition credit risk strategies and eligibility policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust risk strategies based on data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve loan workflows and underwriting criteria.
• Produce regular KRIs and risk reporting for senior management.
• Support ad-hoc credit risk projects and automation initiatives.
