Job summary

GCash, the leading Philippine fintech, seeks a Credit Risk Analyst to help acquire and manage risk in a growing portfolio. You will analyze data, develop risk policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loan workflows.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making and operational risk management across B2B2C and B2B2B channels, with opportunities to impact consumer and merchant lending in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field; Master’s degree a plus.
• Experience in consumer credit risk management or similar analytical roles.
• Exposure to hybrid risk models (embedded finance, BNPL, marketplace lending).
• Strong understanding of lending products and credit lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess creditworthiness using data sources and scoring models.
• Develop, implement, and refine acquisition credit risk strategies and eligibility policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and adjust strategies based on market trends and risk appetite.
• Produce regular KRIs and performance reports; present findings to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize loan workflows and risk controls.
