Job Summary:

The Credit Review Officer ensures credit reviews of corporate, commercial, and consumer lending portfolios are performed in compliance with bank and BSP regulations. Assesses the quality of individual credits and aggregate portfolios, including risk ratings, loan classifications, and adequacy of loss provisions, while preparing comprehensive credit proposals supported by financial analysis and industry research. Monitors account performance, conducts reviews as needed, and maintains accurate credit risk scoring and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To align with team's workplan and ensure that credit review of the accounts / various lending portfolios (Corporate/ Commercial/Consumer) are performed according to the rules set forth by the bank and the BSP
• To Assess the quality of individual credits and aggregate portfolio, including the appropriateness of credit risk ratings, loan classifications and adequacy of allowance for loan losses, trends, and identifying problems Prepares credit proposals with complete assessment and evaluation covering all key risk areas.
• Responsible for Credit Risk Scoring and financial spreadsheets.
• Researches and includes all pertinent industry data and statistics that are material to the evaluation of the account.
• Monitors performance of accounts under his/her portfolio and conducts review / reporting when needed.
